'Harissa' BBQ chicken thighs

18th Oct 2022

You know, I wasnt going to write this today but as it is SO easy and was so sucessful I decided that it would be good to put on the site, now...

No real recipe but you will need about 4-6 chicken thighs (skin off and deboned)

  • 1 x tbsp 'harissa' spice
  • 2 x tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • Lemon juice

Wash the thighs under the tap and wipe clean and dry with paper towels. Now I cut off any excess fat but that really is up to you. . Then mix the 'Harissa' with the oil add salt and pepper and brush on to the thighs on both sides...easy eh?

Place them on a pre:heated grill on the BBQ for about 5 minutes each side or when they are cooked through...Make sure that the burners are low to medium so that you dont burn them!

when they are ready take them off and rest for a couple of minutes, squeeze the lemon over just before serving.

Great with a mixed salad or any salad that you care to  do.............

enjoy!

Ross

TIP: Cutting them in half makes them easier to manage
