Converting a BBQ to Natural Gas

You may all know by now my views on copper-pipe installations.....but they now allow plastic pipe! Well although copper is more expensive, I insisted that all my (past) intallers used copper rather than plastic, yes it is dearer but I have always preferred copper.

Most of our work is 'Workshop-based' but in certain circumstances we do on-site service calls, such as warranty, be aware though that an 'onsite' call can cost more than double (travel & time may be charged) and can take longer to book you in. A call-out fee will be charged even if we cannot

if you are not sure as to what BBQ you want or where to put it. i.e. Alfresco, outside, inside, caravan, boat, then call us....We will send our top boss, Ross to have a look at your area, your BBQ, your cooking methods, almost 'anything' BBQ related.

Remember to check the Specification of the BBQ you buy, this one is a Jumbuck from Bunnings, it is NOT approved for conversion to Natural Gas.

I had this question come in from a 'J' who lives in Melbourne. I dont know the regs in Victoria but surely this one is ok for a natural Gas BBQ?
