BBQ Alfresco Areas

7/2/2018 - Update....I had an email from a customer a few days ago reminding me that all BBQ's must adhere to the manufacturers instructions about being certain distances away from non combustible materials.

Ross was called by an Editor from 'Home Beautiful' Magazine recently to do an article on Trends, Styles and finish etc for Barbeques, look out for the January 2018 edition as the article will be there, out very soon..... 

I had this question come in from a 'J' who lives in Melbourne. I dont know the regs in Victoria but surely this one is ok for a natural Gas BBQ?

How often do clients fall into this trap and prepare plans for areas that turn out to be 'non-compliant' for outdoor Barbeques?

I have been getting more phone calls and enquiries on Barbeques for partially enclosed Alfresco Areas.. I have already tried to answer most of the questions on our website under "Alfresco Areas' but I think some more clarification may be necessary about 'FLAME FAILURE'

I am adding this link to the page as I feel it is important to let all BBQ users know that a BBQ which is approved for OUTDOORS cannot be used in an Alfresco area that has Cafe Blinds or bi-fold doors! 50% must be permanantly open... check out these links!

We are about to come into the Winter season here in Perth WA so get your patio heater out of the garage or shed and see if it works!
